Responsible for organizing a variety of fundraising activities that help develop the resources necessary to allow the Interfaith Volunteer Caregivers Program to carry out its mission of serving isolated, frail and struggling neighbors.
The position will focus on the implementation of various fundraising events and plans; general promotion, public relations and community awareness activities; and developing and nurturing relationships with individuals, congregations, businesses, and other community groups.
Current events include an annual Chili Cook-Off, Dinner & Auction, Bowl-A-Thon, Golf Outing, Spaghetti Dinner & Sweepstakes. The Events Coordinator is responsible for recruiting and supporting a committee of volunteers to help implement these events.
